I assume its coming from the heater coil, but I’ve never heard anything like it in any other vehicle. It doesn’t always do this, but sometimes when I first start it and sometimes when I turn on the heater. Is this a problem or a normal thing?

I have a used 1993 dodge caravan. and usually I let it warm up for 15 minutes on defrost, but this morning it was not warm when normally it was. and only at 6 45am(eastern time) when I stop and then start to go it hesitates(jerks a little before going), was thinking that maybe its low on antifreeze (in radiator) or transmission fluid. I know where the stick is for the transmission fluid but if I need to add ;where to add more fluid? and how to know when to add antifreeze(I know where to put this)but don’t know how to tell if I need to add this? my husband just puts water instead of antifreeze in the radiator and I want to put antifreeze. thanks for any help with this. in Ohio.
WHERE TO FILL THE ANTIFREEZE? HOW TO TELL IF I NEED TO ADD TRANSMISSION FLUID AND WHERE TO ADD IT? THE FIRST 2 ANSWERS DID NOT ANSWER THE QUESTIONS- ONLY SAID NOT TO ADD WATER- GOT THAT. BUT NOW FOR THE QUESTIONS???

I parked my car next to the house and the evaporative cooler on the house sprayed water on the whole left side of my car. Well, it left hard water stains that I can’t wash off even with scrubbing and all kinds of soap. It looks horrible and this is a Porsche 928 and I don’t know what to do to clean it off.

I know this noise is often associated with belts (serpetine in this case), but the belt is new and fits properly (not loose). It did get some oil and grime on it during installation. The original belt snapped. I’ve read forums about the low pitched sound a pump can make when it goes out, and i think i may have heard this sound the past couple of days but i’m not 100% sure. Also, there appears to be smoke coming from around the water pump area shortly after starting up the vehicle so i don’t let it run long. I don’t want the belt to break at $40 for it.. Alternator was replaced in October. i think that’s all of the obvious details.

I think I saw online a product for about thirty dollars a gallon that sprays on, won’t hurt the paint, and washes right off with water. Supposedly it leaves the bare metal ready to be primed. Does this stuff, if it exists, actually work?
